Painter-draftsman, graduated from the National School of Fine Arts of Seville and the School of Fine Arts of Rouen, Antonio Matallana works on oil and on panel with a base of tempera, in thin superimposed layers or glaze, a pictorial technique of the late 16th and 17th centuries.
Antonio Matallana exhibits in the United States in New York, Boston and Philadelphia, and exhibited for many years at the gallery Michelle Boulet, situated rue de la Boétie in Paris.
